Joining us for this Sunday Showcase are Jorge Sanchez and Emma Martin.

4PM - Jorge Sanchez is an indie country singer-songwriter bringing honest storytelling and a modern edge to a timeless sound. Rooted in real-life experiences, his music captures the highs and lows of chasing dreams, finding your way, and staying connected to where you come from.

5PM - Beginning her songwriting journey at the age of 8, Emma Martin has explored many different aspects of writing music and experimenting within different genres over the years. At first, she tried so hard to sound cool and mature, like an adult. Between the ages of eleven and thirteen, she realized that this idea wasn't going to help her grow and learn from her mistakes as a songwriter. So, instead of trying to sound cool and mature, she started telling the truth. Her music started to "suck" less, and she got more confident with the lyrics she wrote. From Taylor Swift type tunes to dance to in your bedroom to the nostalgia of Fleetwood Mac to the chill and sweet tone of Olivia Dean to Lizzy McAlpine's lyrical depth to Joni Mitchell's heartfelt intimacy, she balances honesty with what people want to hear. She continues to be honest within her songwriting, and it has changed her perspective greatly.

Music is half of her, so this path was a given, and a gift and a curse as most artists know. It's everything and nothing all at once. She loves it and hates it. It consumes her day to day and pushes her away when she gives it her all. It's her best friend and her worst enemy. But so is she. She's learning as she goes.
